NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (1010 WINS) -- Officials are investigating after vandals broke two windows at a Ukrainian church in Connecticut.
In a Facebook post on Monday from St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in New Britain, a window that protected a 100-year-old stained-glass window was broken, although the stained-glass window remains untouched.

"Our church/temple has been a victim of vandalism recently. 2 windows have been broken: - one was a protective covering that protected a beautiful, 100-year-old stained-glass window. Thank God the stained-glass window remained untouched; - and the other, the window by the main entrance," according to the post.
The damages will cost thousands of dollars to fix, according to the church.
The church is asking for donations to help pay for the repairs.
Authorities have arrested one of the suspects and an investigation is ongoing.
