A flood watch was issued for most of the Tri-State on Tuesday morning, but the advisory had expired by 2 p.m.

Rain was forecast to linger into the evening before tapering off, according to AccuWeather.

The MTA said it had strategically pre-positioned weather response teams, including track and signal specialists, at key locations across the subway system to respond to flooding and other weather-related events.
The city’s Office of Emergency Management issued a travel advisory for Tuesday.
