MASTIC BEACH, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Suffolk County police are searching for a man who is wanted for shooting a man to death in a parking lot on Long Island.
According to officials, Joseph Scalafani, 32, shot Alex Smith in the parking lot of 373 Neighborhood Rd. in Mastic Beach at 2 a.m. on May 20.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting weren't immediately known, nor was the relationship between the two men.
