NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Arctic winds swinging down from Canada are bringing more snow flurries and squalls to parts of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey on Sunday and Monday.
Forecasters predict upstate New York will see the heaviest snowfall, but areas as far south as the Hudson Valley, Northern New Jersey and all of Connecticut could potentially get snow squalls.
The snowy weather is accompanying a broader cold front that will drop temperatures Sunday and Monday and bring strong winds throughout the region.
Temperatures in NYC are predicted to drop to 23 degrees Sunday night, with a high of 32 degrees Monday.
Gusts could reach speeds of up to 40 miles per hour.
Motorists in areas that are hit with snow squalls should be careful when driving, as the squalls can severely reduce visibility.
