Woman, 62, dies after veering off road, striking tree in NJ crash

FRANKFORD, N.J. (WCBS 880) — Officials are investigating after a woman was killed in a crash Sunday night in New Jersey, authorities said.

The collision occurred at about 8:20 p.m. when 62-year-old Karen Krok was driving north on Route 565 in Frankford.

According to New Jersey State Police, Krok's SUV veered off the road and struck a tree.

Krok was transported to a local hospital where she died of her injuries, authorities said.

The crash is under investigation.
