
MIDDLE TOWNSHIP, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A woman was killed after her vehicle crashed into a New Jersey home on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Officials were called to the 1600 block of Route 9 at about around 2:20 p.m., police said.
Upon arrival, officers were able to pull the 54-year-old driver from the crash, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, a statement from the Middle Township Police Department said.
The woman's cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
The house had minor damage and nobody inside was injured, police said.
There were no other vehicles involved and police are investigating the cause of the crash.
