DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys vs San Francisco 49ers matchup in Week 15 will no longer be on Sunday Night Football, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The game has been moved to 12 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted on CBS.
According to 506 Sports, this is the first time since Sunday Night Football started in 2006 that the Cowboys have been flexed out of the game.
The NFL has tabbed the Giants and Browns to take over the primetime slot and also announced that the Jets and Rams will kickoff at 3:05 CT on Fox.
The Cowboys and 49ers have been two of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season. But a lot of their struggles can be blamed on the number of injuries they've sustained this year.
After both teams lost their games in Week 13, putting them on the outside looking in at the playoffs, the NFL had no choice but to move the game out of the primetime slot.
San Francisco dropped to 5-7 after losing to the Bills on Monday Night Football, and are one game out from the final two wild-card spots in the NFC.
The Cowboys dropped to 3-9 after getting blitzed by the Ravens on Tuesday night. Thanks to the woeful NFC East, they're playoff hopes are still not dead.
