The Dallas Cowboys seemed to have their seventh win of the season in the bag, but ultimately fell at Lambeau Field to the Green Bay Packers 31-28 in overtime.

The loss, which drops the Cowboys to 6-3 on the season, is an extra painful one for Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy, who's team lead 28-14 heading into the fourth quarter.

Then Aaron Rodgers happened, with the veteran quarterback leading the Green Bay Packers down the field for 17 unanswered points against his former boss, culminating in a game-winning field goal in overtime.

And while it may seem surprising considering the vaunted Cowboys defense on the other side of the field, this was not the first time Aaron Rodgers made an example of the blue and silver.

For the day, Rodgers finished completing 14 of 20 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns, while running back Aaron Jones also had an explosive day, rushing 24 times for 138 yards and another score.

Perhaps the most impressive day, however, came from rookie wideout Christian Watson, who caught all three of Rodgers' touchdown passes, to go along with 107 yards receiving.

Meanwhile on the other side, the Cowboys had an equally impressive offensive day, out gaining the Packers 421-415, and with their own 100 yard rusher in Tony Pollard (115 yards and a score on 20 carries), and 100 yard receiver in CeeDee Lamb (11 catches for 150 yards and two touchdowns).

That is except for the two interceptions thrown by Dak Prescott, who finished the day with 265 yards on 27 of 46 passing with three touchdowns.

In the end, the mistakes from Prescott, as well as the questionable overtime fourth down decision by McCarthy, sealed the Cowboys fate.

Following the loss, the Cowboys (6-3) face off with another NFC North opponent, when they head to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Vikings.
