DALLAS (105.3 the Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys will be without one of their top defensive backs for the start of training camp this summer, while another will be ready to roll.

Per reports, veteran defensive back Jourdan Lewis will begin training on the Active/phyiscally Unable to Perform list with a foot injury.

Alongside Lewis, rookie tight end Luke Schoonmaker, who also has a foot injury, will start camp on the Active/Non-Football Injury list.

In some good news for the Cowboys however, standout offensive lineman Terence Steele, who suffered a torn ACL and MCL towards the end of last season, has been cleared to participate in practice.

The news on Steele comes at a great time for the Cowboys, who are at risk of a hold out from star guard Zack Martin, after he did not report to training camp due to contract disputes.

It is unclear how the Cowboys will structure their offensive line with the absence of Martin, but with Steele active, that issue becomes less of a burden in the immediate future.
