Per Cowboys inside Jane Slater, the Cowboys have 'serious concerns' about his ability to contribute to the team this season, and optimism has faded.

This supports previous reports that the Cowboys had 'cooled' on the idea of signing Beckham, despite rolling out the red carpet for him during his visit.

So does that mean the Cowboys are out of the Beckham chase entirely?

No. In fact, the Cowboys have been known to take risks on players coming off of injuries, most recently with Michael Gallup, who signed an extension despite tearing his ACL last season.

So far, that risk has seemingly paid off.

However, earlier this week on 105.3 The Fan, Jerry Jones also noted a scenario in which that type of risk did not pay off with former Cowboys fullback Alonzo Highsmith, who only saw the field sparingly for Dallas.

One way or another Beckham is sure to land somewhere. The only question is, where?
