Thought of as a developmental prospect, Ball had a breakout senior campaign for the Thundering Herd, and is known for his ability to block with leverage and his ability to move well for his size.
Ball also excels in pass coverage, and showing an ability to pick up his assignments well. He also displays good awareness and is a strong finisher in the running game.
Ball now joins an offensive line group for the Cowboys that struggled in 2020 in wake of substantial injury problems, but will have to earn his way into the roster with the like of Terrence Steele and Brandon Knight still in the mix.
Dallas will continue with four additional picks as the NFL Draft continues, with a particular need at safety spot still in play.
