The Dallas Cowboys nearly had the biggest comeback in the NFL in Week 6. However, it wasn't to be, as they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 00-00, and dropped to 4-2 on the season.

Ultimately, the Cowboys fell victim to their slow start, and inconsistent early play of backup quarterback Cooper Rush.

Rush, who had two first half turnovers, was the glaring weakness for the Cowboys all night long, completing 18 of 38 passes for 181 yards and one score, with 131 total interceptions.

And it was the last pick that came at the worst time for Dallas, with C.J. Gardner-Johnson intercepting Rush with five minutes to go in the contest, and Dallas down by two scores.

From there, the Cowboys were unable to withstand the Eagles rushing attack, as Philadelphia wore down the rest of the clock with their physical rushing attack, and sealing the win.

It wasn't all bad for Dallas, with Ezekiel Elliott having his best game of the season, and rushing for 81 yards on 13 carries, with a score.

Unfortunately for Dallas, Elliott's heroics, were too little, too late.

Following the loss, the Cowboys will return home to AT&T Stadium where they will take on the Detroit Lions next Sunday.
