DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys suffered a setback in their front seven on Monday, when MRI results confirmed a torn ACL for rookie linebacker, Jabril Cox.
Cox suffered the injury midway through the Cowboys 20-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night football.

Cox had only played in two of the Cowboys seven games so far this season, recording one tackle in Week 6 against New England, and one tackle against the New York Giants in Week 5.
Cox was expected to take on a bigger role in replacement of veteran Jaylon Smith Following his release earlier in the season.
The Cowboys will now likely be forced to turn to the free agent market or the practice squad, with Micah Parsons, Leighton Vander Esch, Luke Gifford, and Keanu Neal listed as the only healthy linebackers on the depth chart.
