DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - After taking an illegal hit to the head in the Cowboys blowout loss to the Washington Football Team last Sunday, Andy Dalton has officially been ruled doubtful for this week's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles.

In replacement of the veteran backup, the Cowboys reportedly plan to start rookie seventh round pick, Ben DiNucci, who saw the first regular season action of his young career in the loss to Washington.

In that game, DiNucci was completed two of his three passes for 39 yards, and was sacked three times.

DiNucci also has a successful college resume at James Madison under his belt, after finishing in the top-10 all time in passing yards, touchdowns, completions, attempts, and total offense.
