DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - After addressing the position earlier in the night, the Dallas Cowboys added some more help at the cornerback spot with the No. 99 overall pick, selecting Oregon State Nahshon Wright.

Standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 188 pounds, Wright is a long, athletic cornerback with good ball skills who is known for his ability to read and react quickly, while using good timing to disrupt in pass defense.

While Wright tends to be pushed around by more physical receivers, his ability in coverage can help him see the field in dime packages early in his career, while he works to fill out his frame and get stronger.

Last season with the Beavers, Wright had 30 tackles, four pass deflections and two interceptions in just six games. In 2019 Wright was even more productive, finishing with 34 tackles and three interceptions.

After selecting their second corner in as many rounds, the Cowboys will now look to fill other holes throughout the defense, and potentially throughout the offensive line, where and extensive lack of depth still remains.
