DALLAS (105.3 the Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys added some much-needed depth to the interior of their defensive line group on Friday night, selecting UCLA defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa with the No. 75 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

Standing 6-2 and weighing in at 280 pounds, Odighizuwa was a three-time state wrestling champion in high school and is known for using his hands, power, and leverage to dominate up front.
A versatile player, Odighizuwa can play multiple spots along the defensive line and should be able to help immediately improve in stopping the run, where Dallas has struggled mightily in recent years.
Last season with the Bruins, Odighizuwa finished the year with 30 tackles, four sacks, and six tackles for loss in just seven games, and finished his college career with 27.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks.
With their need on the interior of the defensive line now addressed, the Cowboys can move their attention to other levels of the defense, including pass rush, safety, or cornerback, where their needs are still abundant.
