Coming off of a frustrating loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last week, the Cowboys bounced back in a big way on Sunday afternoon at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, taking down the Detroit Lions 24-6, and moving to 5-2 on the season.

And while there was some obvious rust to be knocked off after a long absence, Prescott was a major player in the Cowboys blowout win.

For the game, Prescott finished completing an efficient 19 of 25 passes for 207 yards, with one touchdown and no interceptions.

However, it was ultimately Ezekiel Elliott who made the biggest difference for Dallas, rushing 15 times for 57 yards, and accounted for all - of the Cowboys touchdowns.

Backup running back Tony Pollard also added 12 carries for 83 yards of his own, but was unable to get into the end zone.

Not to be outdone, the Cowboys defense looked like its old self once again on Sunday, holding the Lions offense, out of the end zone, and limiting them to less than 300 yards of offense until garbage time in the fourth quarter.

But more importantly, Dallas forced five turnovers on the afternoon, including two interceptions of Jared Goff, and a Lions fumble at the goal line when the game was still in question.

Following the win, the Cowboys will welcome their second NFC North team in a row next Sunday, when the Chicago Bears come to AT&T Stadium.

Kickoff is set for noon CT.
