DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Cowboys may have suffered a big blow to their offense in Monday's training camp practice, when wide receiver James Washington went down with a lower body injury.

Washington had to be carted off of the field by the training staff following the injury, and didn't return.
After practice, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Washington has a foot injury and he was "concerned" about the prognosis, via 105.3 The Fan's Bobby Belt.
Now, Jones's fears have been confirmed, with Washington set to miss 6-10 weeks with a fracture in his foot.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry missed the rest of the regular season after he suffered a similar injury in Week 8 last season. He was able to return in the team's Divisional Round upset loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Washington originally signed with the Cowboys back in March as a free agent after spending four years with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Washington was brought in to help replace the losses of Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson, both of whom are now in the AFC.
During his time with Pittsburgh, Washington 114 catches on 218 targets for 1,628 yards and 11 touchdowns.
He played in 60 games with 25 starts, averaging 27.2 yards per game on 1.9 catches, and 14.3 yards per catch.
