DALLAS (105. The Fan) - The Cowboys' newest linebacker has known for quite a long time that he wanted to be drafted by America's Team.
The Penn State linebacker sent out two tweets back in December expressing his desire to be a Cowboy. In the first tweet, he said that he hopes to continue playing in "that blue and white," a nod to the Nittany Lions color scheme.
Parsons followed that tweet up by sending out a picture of him standing in AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, as he played in the 2019 Cotton Bowl. Parsons also happened to win the defensive MVP in that game.
The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native also included a longhorn hook'em emoji, which was perceived as a nod to the state of Texas.
His dream to stay in blue and white has now come true.
