DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Despite all of the noise and commotion in regards to the Dallas Cowboys potentially trading up in the first round of next week's NFL Draft, it appears that Jerry Jones's team is content on stay put, according to a report from NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

The Cowboys, who have long been in connection with Florida's Kyle Pitts, have been the subject of trade up rumors of late, especially following Jerry Jones's comments on his infatuation with the tight end.

"Boy, I tell you what, I'm excited to have you come into this league," Jones said to Pitts in a virtual interview. "And man, what a pair up we could do with ole Dak Prescott and some of those guys that we've got out there with options to get you the ball so... we can dream of visions and sugar plums around here."

Despite that infatuation, however, Rapoport asserts Dallas will being staying put at No. 10, and has no plans to move up for Pitts, or anyone else for that matter.

Before vaulting up draft boards following his pro day performance, Pitts was wildly productive during his time at Florida, catching 100 passes for 1,492 yards and 18 touchdowns in three seasons.

The NFL Draft is set to kick off on Thursday, April 29 at 7 PM CT.
