DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - According to reports, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic reportedly wants the Mavericks to make some improvements at the trade deadline, so that the team can expedite their championship hopes.
However, Mavs owner Mark Cuban has now denied those reports, claiming that Doncic has made no such indications.

“Tim MacMahon got it dead wrong," Cuban said. "Luka has never suggested, asked, demanded or discussed changes to the roster. Luka and Nico have a great relationship. They talk almost daily. Luka knows exactly what we have going on and is very supportive.”
The Mavs currently sit at 24-21 with the NBA Trade Deadline fast approaching, while Doncic is carrying an abnormally heavy load, leading the team in points (33.8), rebounds (8.9), assists (8.8) and steals (1.6).
He is also third on the team in blocks, averaging .6 per game.
There is not another Mavericks player who approaches anywhere close to Doncic's average in scoring, with the next highest scorer being Christian Wood at 18.3 points per game.
He is also the overwhelming leader in assists, with Spencer Dinwiddie as sitting second on the team with 5.2 per game.
