DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks can't seem to catch a break in the injury department right now, as the team announced Tuesday that forward Maxi Kleber underwent surgery to address a right hamstring tear he sustained in practice last week.

Kleber will begin rehabilitation 'immediately,' the team says. There is no timetable for his return.

In 22 games this season, Kleber is averaging 6.2 points while shooting 36.9% from behind the arc.

In addition to Kleber, Dwight Powell (thigh contusion), Tim Hardaway Jr. (non-covid illness) and Josh Green (elbow sprain) all missed Monday night's 116-106 loss to the Timberwolves. And forward Dorian Finney-Smith exited in the third quarter with a strained right abductor and never returned.
