The Pittsburgh Pirates have cooled off significantly since their great start, leading to rumors they could trade off key pieces. And the Rangers are ready to pounce when that time comes.
MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported Monday that the Rangers have "broached the possibility of acquiring Andrew McCutchen, but the Pirates are not prepared to move yet."
He added that Texas would be interested in a deal with Pittsburgh that brought them the 36-year-old veteran as long as at least one pitcher was included in the deal.
Could any of these players be of interest to the Rangers? K&C scoured the Pirates' pitching staff for pieces that could help Texas and discussed what they and McCutchen would bring to the club.
