DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - For the first time in his career, the Texas Rangers slugger Adolis Garcia is heading to the MLB Home Run Derby after accepting an invitation on Wednesday afternoon.
Garcia will be the No. 4 seed in the field, where he will face No. 5 seed, Rays star Rand Arozerena, in the first round.
Other participants include Pete Alonso, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Julio Rodríguez, Mookie Betts, Adley Rutschman and Luis Robert Jr.
So far this season Garcia is is hitting .258 with 21 home runs and leads the MLB with 69 RBI.
