In the midst of a blockbuster offseason, the Texas Rangers have made another solid addition to to the roster, signing free agent outfielder Robbie Grossman, according to reports.

Grossman is the first impact position player to the Rangers already stellar winter, in which they signed pitchers Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi, and Andrew Heaney.
Grossman, a 33-year-old switch hitter, most recently spent time with the Braves, scoring 16 runs on 30 hits, and hitting .217 with a .306 OBP. He als had five home runs, and 22 RBI for Atlanta.
Before Atlanta, Grossman spent a year and a half in Detroit with the Tigers, where he had 189 hits on 830 at bats, scoring 112 runs, and hitting 25 home runs, with 90 RBI, with a .228 batting average and a .343 OBP.
Grossman is a career .245 hitter, and has 80 home runs in 11 seasons.
