(AUDACY) Move over, 50 Cent. There's a new worst first pitch at a baseball game.
UFC fighter Conor McGregor may have dethroned the rap artist with his ceremonial first pitch prior to the Cubs-Twins game at Wrigley Field on Tuesday evening.

The 33-year-old McGregor took the mound at Wrigley Field and fired away, only for the ball to sail wide, wide right and over everyone’s heads, hitting the wall between the batter’s box and on-deck circle.
As far as bad first pitches go, McGregor’s is certainly up there. Of course, 50 Cent infamously came nowhere near the plate before throwing the first pitch prior to a Mets game at Citi Field in 2014.
It’s a tough call to decide which one is the worst pitch. 50 Cent’s ball appeared to slip out early, while McGregor held on too late. 50 Cent came close to a photographer, while McGregor’s was safe from everyone but ricocheted around the field after hitting the brick wall.
At least McGregor has the excuse that there isn't a whole lot of baseball played in Ireland.

Both are also left-handed, coincidentally. Judging by their pitches, though, maybe they should try throwing right-handed.
Naturally, McGregor’s first pitch went viral with plenty of fans roasting him.
