Tigers blasted in second half at Tulsa losing 83-66

The Memphis Tigers fell 83–66 to the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Wednesday night in Tulsa, dropping their record to 9–9 overall and 4–2 in American Conference play. Tulsa improved to 16–3 and 4–2 in the AAC behind a balanced attack and a pivotal second half.

Tulsa led 34–30 at halftime and opened the second half with a 26–2 run that pushed the lead out of reach. Miles Barnstable led Tulsa with 17 points and five rebounds, while Tylen Riley contributed a near triple-double with 16 points, eight rebounds and eight assists. David Green added 15 points and six boards for the Golden Hurricane.

For Memphis, Ashton Hardaway scored a team-high 18 points, including 12 in the second half, Dug McDaniel added 13 points, and Aaron Bradshaw chipped in 12 points and eight rebounds. Hasan Abdul Hakim paced the Tigers on the glass with 10 rebounds.
