Pitt Panthers quarterback Kenny Pickett has his first Name, Image Likeness deal.

The senior, who chose to stay at Pitt one more year, has inked a deal with the Oaklander Hotel along with their restaurant Spirits & Tales.

Pickett says he plans on treating his linemen “to our weekly Hog Dinners.”

The Oaklander is located on Bigelow Boulevard.

In a tweet, Pickett says, I want to make sure I can take care of my big guys who take care of me.”

NIL deals allow college players to profit off of their name, image or likeness and deals are not associated with the university they are a part of.

Pickett was close to entering the NFL draft but ultimately decided to stay with the Panthers and coach Pat Narduzzi.

Pickett said most of his teammates thought he was going to leave.  There was one must-have though for the New Jersey native.

“Coach Whipple is like family to me,” Pickett said.  “He was a huge influence as to why I came back.  If he wasn’t coming back here, I wouldn’t have come back.”

“There is a lot of unfinished business.  We are really excited to work together for one final year and go out with a bang that we think we can.”
