PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was knocked out of the Steelers game Sunday against Cincinnati, suffering a left-hand injury. Mason Rudolph took over for the first drive of the third quarter, his first meaningful action this season.

Rodgers was hit a couple of times during the final drive of the first half, two of those illegally. The 41-year-old has been durable, playing 99% of the snaps. In the game, Rodgers was 9-15 for 116 yards and a touchdown to Kenneth Gainwell.

Signing a one-year deal in the offseason, Rodgers was completing 66.8% of his passes for 1,853 yards with 18 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Rudolph played in eight and started five games with Tennessee last year completing 64% of his passes for 1,530 yards with nine touchdowns and nine interceptions. In his Steelers career, the record is 8-4-1 with 3,097 yards, 19 touchdowns, 11 interceptions and 3,097 yards.
