About The Travis Manion Foundation (TMF)
The Travis Manion Foundation (TMF). Dedicated to Doylestown native 1stLT Travis Manion, USMC, who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country in 2007, TMF carries on the legacy of service and leadership embodied by Travis and all those who have served, or continue to serve, our nation.
TMF unites and strengthens communities by training, developing, and highlighting the role models that lead them. TMF develops programs, training opportunities, and events designed to empower veterans and families of the fallen, and then inspire them to pass on their values to the next generation and the community at large.
Before his final deployment to Iraq, Travis’s brother-in-law joked with him that if he sustained an injury at home, it could prevent him from going back for a second tour. Travis’s response would become the mantra by which TMF operates: “If not me, then who?” That ethos described a deep sense of duty felt not only by Travis, but by all who serve. TMF enables veterans and families of the fallen to continue serving their country at home.
