Joe Giglio wants the Sixers to start over but on Monday’s 94WIP Midday Show, Joe explained why the Sixers do not have a better option to compete next year unless they bring back James Harden.

“I want to blow this up but I am also acknowledging the Sixers if they are trying to win next year, if they are trying to go to the playoffs next year, and go far in the playoffs, they don't have a better option than James Harden.”

“Daryl Morey is not smart enough, he's not creative enough, he has lost his fastball, and he’s not making a trade. Like all of this Tobias Harris stuff out there…we are delusional.  Oh yeah, they're really going to do something with Tobias Harris…guys nobody wants Tobias Harris.”

Rumors have been swirling around Tobias Harris as of late with Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer reporting that teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers and others have “inquired” about the Sixers forward.

Hugh Douglas added, “Here’s the thing with Harden and this is what makes people upset with Harden and this is what I’ve gotten fresh off the streets of Philadelphia, he quit.”

“Nobody is disputing or saying that James Harden was not a good player when he was in his prime but when you saw a person quit the way that he did that it is just unacceptable,” Hugh said.

Harden scored just 9 points going 3-for-11 from the field in Game 7 against the Boston Celtics back in mid-May.

NBA Free Agency will begin this Friday, June 30th, at 6pm ET.

Friday could be when James Harden finally makes his decision to either return to play with Joel Embiid and the Sixers or decide to go elsewhere and leave the Sixers without a second star.
