Several NBA executives expect P.J. Tucker to end up in Philadelphia, according to Truehoop.com.

"On the Philly front, it would be a surprise if the most deal-happy executive in the league would sit on his hands in the coming weeks," Tom Haberstroh wrote for Truehoop.com. "Several rival executives expect disgruntled Rockets forward P.J. Tucker to find his way to Philadelphia, whether in a buyout or a trade that nets the Rockets a second-round pick."

Tucker, 35, is averaging 4.4 points and 4.6 rebounds in 30.0 minutes per game for the Rockets this season.

Tucker, however, would provide the Sixers with a veteran defensive presence off of the bench, toughness, and the ability to knock down the open three. Tucker is a career 35.9% three-point shooter.

Tucker has spent the last three-plus seasons with the Rockets and certainly has a relationship with former Rockets GM and current 76ers president Daryl Morey.

Furthermore, another former Morey player and Philly native Kyle Lowry, has been often discussed in rumors landing him with the Sixers.

"Which brings us to Kyle Lowry. The Raptors guard is in a contract year with a $30 million salary. He has long been the heart and soul of the Raptors, but might a contending team value his services more than Toronto?

"Keep an eye on his hometown of Philadelphia. New 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey once said that acquiring Lowry from Memphis in 2009 was his best move as Houston GM. Morey later met with Lowry at the outset of the 2014 free agency."
