The Eagles are still a very good team despite losing their first game of the season. The sky is not yet falling. The season is very still much alive.
Even with those realities, however, there is no denying there is another very real, very important reality about this team — if they want to win the Super Bowl, they have to be better against the run.
In the latest Go Birds! Pod, James Seltzer and Eliot Shorr-Parks discus the Eagles terrible run defense agains the Washington Commanders on Monday night, a game where they gave 152 yards on the ground and couldn’t get off the field on third downs.
