Of course, it's the New York Jets, so we thought Gardner Minshew might have a good game. But his first half has been more than good.

It's been basically perfect.

Minshew, making his first career start as an Eagle for an injured Jalen Hurts, is 14-15 passing for 188 yards, 2 TDs, no turnovers and nine rushing yards for a perfect 158.3 QB rating.

Minshew joins Donovan McNabb, Nick Foles, and Mike Vick as one of four Eagles QBs who have ever had a perfect QB rating in the first half of a game, per Eagles PR manager John Gonoude.

Gonoude adds his 93.3% first half completion percentage ties McNabb for highest by an Eagle since 1991.

Minshew's first touchdown pass was a perfect deep throw down the middle to tight end Dallas Goedert.

His second touchdown pass was also to Goedert.

Defensively, the Eagles have struggled, allowing 156 total yards of offense and three touchdowns to Zach Wilson and the Jets. Two missed extra points have helped the Eagles take a 24-18 lead into the locker room.

The Eagles will get the ball to start the second half.
