In his first game as the QB1 of the Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Hurts starting the season by completing 27 of 35 passes for 264 yards, three touchdowns, plus 62 rushing yards and zero turnovers.

And most importantly, a dominating 32-6 win.

"His first that we had with him, he played an excellent game," Nick Sirianni told the 94WIP Morning Show on Monday when asked about Hurts. "He played at unbelievable game. We know, and I don't want to take anything away from him because he played unreal, just got to do it week in and week out. And Jalen knows that. He's gotta come in here and work hard this week to play another good game. Then he's gotta work hard the next week to play another good game.

"The bar is set, the standard is set. We want him to play like that every week, of course, and I'm very confident in Jalen in his abilities to be able to do that. It's just he's going to have to put the work in to do that, and I have no doubt in my mind that this is type of player and type of person that is willing to put the work in and get better every day to be able to reach his ceiling."
