The new league year is set to begin next year and already it looks like a big part of last year's Eagles team could be on the way out.
Cornerback Darius Slay has been given permission by the Eagles to talk to other teams about a trade, according to Dianna Russini of ESPN.
Slay, 32-years old, is coming off of a solid season with the Eagles as the No. 1 cornerback on the No. 1 pass defense in the NFL. He has allowed 11 total touchdowns in three years with the team in just under 1,900 coverage snaps.
Is trading Darius Slay a mistake? Or is this a cost-saving move the team is going to have to make to clear cap space?
