94WIP's Eliot Shorr-Parks asked Roseman if he still feels the same as he did when the season ended, completely confident in Jalen Hurts as the team's QB1.

"Yeah, there is no doubt about it," Roseman said. "When you talk about all of the things we talked about at the end of the season, nothing has changed. I think what really has changed for us is the opportunity to add. This is a great time of the year for the Philadelphia Eagles, for us, for our staff in being here and really getting everyone involved in the draft process. Start of free-agency is upcoming, and so we have to continue to add good players. We have to continue to make sure that we're doing everything we can to maximize our players' ability to be successful and certainly that starts at the quarterback position with Jalen."

Hurts, in 15 games as a first-year starter with the Eagles was 8-7 last season, throwing for 3,144 yards, 16 touchdowns and nine interceptions. However, Hurts was a dynamic playmaker with his legs, rushing for 784 yards and 10 touchdowns.

"We talked about at the end of the season," Roseman said later in the press conference. "We need Jalen to take another step. We need Jalen to do some of the things that we drafted him to do. He knows that, there's no secret about that. We've told him the same things."

Later, head coach Nick Sirianni addressed the media and echoed the same sentiment as Roseman regarding Hurts.

The Eagles currently have three first-round picks in this year's draft: Nos. 15, 16, and 19.
