With 10 games remaining, the Eagles have the NFL's easiest schedule

The 2021 Philadelphia Eagles are looking like a bad football team. There isn't much doubt about that.

But there are a lot of bad teams in the NFC and being a bad team doesn't necessarily exclude you from making the playoffs now with 17 games and seven teams per conference reaching the postseason.

So, if you're looking for any good news about the actual Philadelphia Eagles, I'm not here for that. But if you're looking for some good news surrounding the Philadelphia Eagles, that I can help with.

The Eagles, according to the projections of ESPN's Mike Clay, have literally the easiest remaining NFL schedule. And it is REALLY is. Take a look.

The Eagles have yet to be favored in a game this season and have already faced Dak Prescott, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, and Derek Carr.

All of that changes this week, as they are 3.5 point road favorites against Jared Goff and the winless Detroit Lions. If you remove the Chargers in Week 9 and the Cowboys in Week 18 (whom may be resting players with a division title locked up), the Eagles will face the Lions, Broncos, Saints, Giants (twice), Jets, and WFT (twice).

What do all of those teams have in common? They all stink. Those six teams currently have a combined record of 12-24, and that's including a 4-2 mediocre Jameis Winston led Saints team coming off a 13-10 win over the Russell Wilson-less Seahawks.

I am not writing this to argue that the Eagles are a good football team or they do not have issues at the head coach and quarterback positions, but moreso to illustrated while everyone is anticipating the firing of Nick Sirianni and the benching of Jalen Hurts for Gardner Minshew, the Eagles are a few wins away from flipping that narrative on its head.
