The Philadelphia Flyers have named Keith Jones as their new president of hockey operations on Thursday. Danny Briere was named general manager.
The team announced the news in a statement on Thursday:
Jonesy, 54, played his final two NHL seasons with the Flyers from 1999-2001 and was a co-host on the Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show from 2002-2023.
John Tortorella will return as the head coach and Dan Hilferty is preparing to take over for Dave Scott as the team's governor, as the Flyers get set for an important NHL Draft next month under new leadership, as they try to turn the franchise around.
