The National League MVP Bryce Harper joined 94WIP's Jon Marks and Ike Reese on Monday live in Clearwater, Florida.

Back in 2017, Marks made a bet that if the Eagles won the Super Bowl he would get a Nick Foles tattoo on his back. And he did. Marks told Harper that if the Phillies win the World Series, he'll get a tattoo of Harper's face on his back next to Foles.

"If I could be anywhere next to Nick Foles, I'll take it," Harper said. "I will absolutely take it. That guy is an absolute legend in Philadelphia. If I could be next to him on anything, that means we did something the right way and we did it. So I hope there is a tattoo [of me] right next to him on your back."

For the second time in his career, Harper is coming off of winning the NL MVP.

"The main goal is definitely to win a World Series," Harper said when asked about being named NL MVP last season. "I'm not really a stat person, I don't really look at it until the end of the year. My wife knows that, my family knows that, they kind of stay away from that. I just want to win. When you play this game to win, when you play this game for the guys around you, it makes it that much more easier."

The Phillies added sluggers Kyle Schwarber and Nick Castellanos in free-agency this month, sky rocketing Philadelphia's expectations as an offense.

"I'm just excited to see what we can do," Harper said. "Of course, the expectations are going to be high. For this lineup I wouldn't want it any other way. But also, we have to understand we have to go out there and work. It might look right on paper, but it doesn't matter about the paper when you get on the field"

Larry Bowa, Joe Girardi, and Rhys Hoskins also joined Marks & Reese. You can listen to those interviews below.
