The Phillies have learned the start times of their first two games of their NLDS series against the Braves, and they both have afternoon start times.
Regardless of who wins Sunday’s elimination game between the Mets and Padres, the Phils will play the defending champs at 1:07 p.m. on Tuesday in game one. Game two will be Wednesday at 4:35 p.m., again regardless of who wins Sunday’s decisive Wild Card Series game.
Philadelphia earned itself an extra day off by sweeping the Cardinals in two games, making a game three on Sunday unnecessary. Meanwhile, the Braves have been resting since the end of Wednesday’s regular season finale.
The Phillies finished 8-11 against Atlanta during the regular season.
