Steph Curry is back. Playoff basketball is back. Jordan Poole is on fire. It’s a good time to be a part of Dub Nation.

The Warriors have taken a 2-0 series lead against the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference first round playoffs after defending home court at Chase Center. During his bi-weekly appearance on 95.7 The Game’s “The Morning Roast” Tuesday, Warriors basketball operations consultant Zaza Pachulia discussed the atmosphere in the arena and more. Check out the full interview at the 28:00 mark below:

“There’s a lot of good things we can talk about today,” Pachulia told hosts Bonta Hill and Joe Shasky, “but I definitely wanna start with the energy that Dub Nation brought to Chase Center. Obviously, first time playoffs at Chase Center hosting and we’ve worked, played 82 games. What an energy. It was beautiful.”

Curry dropped 34 points in his second game back from injury Monday, while Poole followed up his 30-point playoff debut with 29 points. Pachulia discussed the key to Poole’s ascension this season.

“It’s his confidence level,” Pachulia said. “His confidence is insane. For a young man that’s hard – either you have it or you don’t.”
