Missouri House bill proposes allowing concealed weapons on Metrolink

Missouri State Rep in District 69, Adam Schnelting, joins The Marc Cox Morning Show to talk about a new Missouri House bill that aims to allow CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) holders to bring firearms onto public transit systems, including Metrolink.

The bill's sponsor, Representative Adam Schnelting, believes that it has a better chance of passing this year under the new Senate leadership. The proposed law would only affect Missouri residents who have a CCW license and would not allow for constitutional carry on public transit systems.

However, some are concerned that it would not guarantee the safety of the riders. The bill has been proposed for more than a decade but has not been passed due to opposition from powerful special interest groups.
