Fox News is reporting that the Parkway School District in St. Louis County was advised by experts at St. Louis Children's Hospital to avoid requiring staff to disclose chest-binding practices of students to parents.
Respiratory physician and Missouri State Senator Bob Onder (Dist-2) joins The Marc Cox Morning Show.
Onder says that chest-binding can cause shortness of breath, and injury to lungs, chest or spine.
"Kids need parental consent to take a Tylenol in Parkway School Districts, as in most school districts in Missouri," says Onder highlighting the dichotomy between standard practice and the case at hand.

Alex Nester, an Investigative Fellow for Parents Defending Education, joins the show to discuss the organization's role in bringing to light advice by experts at St. Louis Children's Hospital to Parkway School District to avoid disclosing chest-binding practices of students to parents.
