HURRICANE IAN: Relief & Recovery

Hurricane Ian has hit Florida, with winds reaching more than 100 miles per hour. As of Wednesday afternoon, the storm was approaching Category 5 strength, a rare occurrence in the United States.

Weather services report the winds and rain will be life-threatening.

Floridians are in need of money and resources in the wake of severe storm damage. And we have resources for those who want to donate.

Florida Disaster Fund is the state's official private fund for disaster or emergency recovery.

Habitat for Humanity Home Preservation Fund helps secure and preserve homes, and rebuild communties after disasters.

Convoy of Hope is donating money and deploying teams and supplies to the state.

The Community Foundation of Northwest Florida is taking donations for recovery efforts.

Animal Victory Fund is using donations to help save animals displaced by the hurricane.

Project Hope is collecting donations.

Good360 is taking donations and will stay in Florida after the hurricane with long-term efforts focused on recovery.

World Central Kitchen is putting its donations toward Florida relief.

UNICEF is taking donations.
