Certified financial planner and senior vice president of investments at UBS Financial Services, Dave Simons joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss the current state of inflation in the country.
“The fed has blown it… They should have been slowly raising rates at the latest last fall. Now they are playing catch up!” Simons exclaimed.
Later, Simons explained, “It is a fed policy mistake, that's my fear, now they are going to aggressively raise rates to try and choke off inflation while the economy itself may start to slow on its own, and it could be overkill, they could push us into a recession.”
