Kenny Wallace, a NASCAR legend who is taking part in the Kyle Petty Charity Ride, joins the show and brings on Kyle Petty himself, and Hershel Walker to talk with Mark Reardon! The Charity Ride benefits Victory Junction, a children’s camp for kids with serious medical conditions.
“We're in Vegas. We're headed to Cedar City, Utah. We're raising money for Victory Junction. You know, my oldest son, Adam was killed in a racing accident in 2000. We built a camp for Children with serious medical needs and chronic medical conditions. It's totally free to all kids that have come to camp. We've seen 115,000 some kids have come to camp in 19 years. The camp has been open and Kenny Wallace is a big part of that man,” shared Kyle Petty on the charity ride.
Then, the former NFL player Hershel Walker joined the show, “There's probably about 135 motorcycles and then you have about 10 support vehicles. So, all together, I think we got about 300 people on the ride right now. So it's worth it. You know, I got a chance to see Victory Junction a couple of years ago and I was totally, totally impressed and to have a mom and dad or a family member to be around a child, you know, 24/7, and then have a chance to bring him to Victory Junction for a week, which is free and the kid has a smile on his face. You, you can tell that that is worth it.”
Finally, Kenny Wallace rejoins Mark to talk Cardinals baseball, “This falls on the front office because now they've been through, you know, they've been through like two or three managers. So they got some of the greatest players. So I love my Cardinals. You and I are still gonna go. But, I'm here no matter what, but I'm gonna blame this one on the, on the upper management.”
