Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt on Biden bribery allegations & Trump Indictment

Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt talks with Mark Reardon about the latest updates on the Biden-Burisma bribery phone call on tape, along with more on the Trump indictment.

“We had a briefing today and had a conversation with Senator Grassley just today about what he knows. What this is right now, is what Senator Grassley is trying to get. He's been a great protector of whistleblowers over the years. So a lot of credibility on this is, did the FBI do their job, did they follow up on this? Because this, you know, whistleblower has come forward with saying there's 17 tapes. I think it was the 17 recordings and this is serious stuff,” Senator Schmitt commented on the latest bribery scandal.

He also shared on Trump’s Indictment, “There seems to be two tiers of justice here. You have, you know, Hillary Clinton who is smashing cell phones with a baseball bat using bit bleach or bleach blit to completely wipe out hard drives. Joe Biden right now had top secret documents in boxes in his garage that Hunter Biden had access to, who's compromised by the Ukrainians and the Chinese. And yet this is what we see. I think it's a really, really dangerous road to go down to have these sort of prosecutions here. And this one specifically of a political opponent, not just a former president, but the leading candidate and I think the likely nominee. And I think if you know, if this was happening in another country Mark, our state department would be telling, warning Americans, it just is Banana Republic kind of stuff.”
