Are you exhausted by the thought of creating and remembering passwords for all your different accounts and apps?
If so, a new Google feature may be what you’ve been waiting for.
Google has launched passkey access across its suite of apps, meaning those who opt to use it may no longer be beholden to passwords.
Passkeys allow access through face recognition, a PIN, or a fingerprint, and Google is allowing users to use passkeys in place of passwords or 2-step verification.
Passkeys exist only on your device, so they can’t be used remotely to access your account.
Google says passkeys will work on all platforms and browsers. More info can be found at security.googleblog.com
