Your child might be in a sugar coma today if their Halloween evenings went well, but its not just the kids that have a sweet tooth this time of year.

A survey conducted by Spinbrush via StudyFinds found that a third of parents admit to stealing some of their kid’s Halloween candy.

Even further, a little more than half (59%) of parents admit to HIDING their kids’ own Halloween candy from them!

44% of parents say they simply hide it away and hope their kids don’t notice.  43% pretend the candy went “magically missing” all by itself, and 41%  of parents tell their kids they had to take some in order to “inspect” it for safety.

40% of parents just sneak a few pieces when the kids aren’t looking, and 37% just pretend the candy has gone bad.
